The Emily Chloe Quinn Ensemble is a “Baroque-Pop” musical group based in Chicago and the surrounding areas, formerly known as the Emily Chloe Quinn Quartet which formed in late 2022. The songs feature prominent arpeggios, with heavy piano, mellotron, and flute, with a modern spin on a classic-but-stilted, Baroque-infused style, with pointed story-like lyrics, and infectious melodies and lyrical concepts that stick with you. Members of the new iteration of the ensemble, formed in Spring, 2024 include singer-songwriter Emily Chloe Quinn on voice, piano/keys, Paul Vincent on bass and backing vocals, Caylee Wells on flute and Tom “Tubs” Jasek on drums/percussion. They plan to record a full album in due time amidst performances.

The BAND:
Emily Chloe Quinn is a singer/songwriter of the “Baroque-Pop” genre who performs in the Chicago area. She plays piano/keys and has a Master’s Degree in Oboe Performance from the University of Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music. Her EP, “My Own Mountain,” released in November of 2022 received critical acclaim in a review in New City Music Magazine in February of 2023 titled “Sly Subjugation: A Review of Emily Chloe Quinn’s “My Own Mountain” by Robert Rodi. She later released a 3-song EP on Bandcamp in November of 2023, entitled, “Wave of Sound” and continues to write and perform music regularly. She formerly played in the original Chicago-based rock band, "Dramaglider" that disbanded in 2019, and writes music with Michael Mazza in a duo called "Modern Wing." Both projects have music available on all major streaming platforms.
Paul Vincent came to Chicago from Costa Rica in 2020 to find more opportunity to pursue his passion for music. A multi-instrumentalist, Paul plays bass, guitar, and dabbles in drums and piano. From an early age, he was spinning records and honing his keen sense of rhythm and style. His musical journey has seen him front personal projects as a guitarist and lead vocalist in genres spanning hard rock, punk, and hip hop. Yet, it’s his profound love for the bass that shines through, as he steps into the spotlight as the bassist for the Emily Chloe Quinn Ensemble. Paul joined the group in 2022, before it was named a “quartet”, and immediately had an intuition and flair that felt natural and inspiring to a singer-songwriter that was just establishing herself. His contribution continues to be invaluable to the enhancement of the music and the growth of the ensemble. Paul is also well-versed in music production. He has been deeply involved in the production and post-production processes of his projects, combining technical skill with creative flair to bring his musical visions to life.
Caylee Wells is a flutist and artist living in Chicago. Utilizing her background in classical flute, She enjoys pushing the limits of the traditional flute sound and technique into new territories. Caylee is inspired by collaboration and experimentation with others while seeking influence from multiple musical genres. In addition to performing with the Emily Chloe Quinn Ensemble, Caylee also currently performs with the Chicago band Periwink, a local Chicago band who features unique approaches to cover songs as well as original tunes offering dreamy and nostalgic sounds. In Fall 2023, Caylee was invited to collaborate with Chicagols own DJ Gloria, featuring live improvisation flute sounds blended with 90’s house, pop, and Latin music DJ set.
Drummer/Percussionist Tom ”Tubs” Jasek has played in Ghanaian high life bands, traditional swing orchestras, art school rock bands, new music dance ensembles, and much of what lies between. Over the years he has occasionally been recognized by the local press, including several Chicago Reader "Critic's Choice" notices, and a solo composer profile by Lawrence Bommer writing in the Chicago Tribune weekend Arts section. He's toured the United States, Canada, and Germany; memorable venues include CBGBs NY; 40 Watt Club Athens GA; some actual cotton field by an off-license road house somewhere outside of Memphis; Taste of Chicago, Park West, Metro, Double Door, Hideout, Wild Hare and Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary, Martyrs', Phyllis' Musical Inn, Chicago; and the Frie Wild Festival in Halle, Germany, where a 45-minute conceptual improvised solo drum recital was ...generously received. He was recognized with a Jeff Award nomination for original music in New Crime Productions' controversial staging of Jean Genet's "The Balcony," and was most recently heard in the pit for Otherworld Theatre's original surprise hit musical "Twihard," finally checking off the "sexy vampire musical" box. Tubs studied legit percussion at the University of Illinois, and vibraphone with the greats at Berklee.
