The Emily Chloe Quinn ensemble is a piano-led, new-vintage chamber-pop group in the Chicago area that features voice, piano, mellotron, flute, and drums. It's pop music with a classical feel.
The ensemble exhibits a vintage-modern aesthetic, with glimmers of 1930’s “Old Hollywood” romance and film noir. Emily’s music explores the metaphysical, the uncanny, the natural, and the supernatural.
Current members of the ensemble include singer-songwriter Emily Chloe Quinn on voice/piano/keys and Caylee Wells on flute. Talented guest musicians frequently join on drums, clarinet, bass clarinet and other instruments at some engagements.
They are working on their first full-length album, to be released in February of 2027.
Emily Chloe Quinn is a singer/songwriter in the realm of Baroque-Pop, Art-Pop and Chamber-Pop who performs in the Chicago area. She plays piano and micro-mellotron and has a Master’s Degree in Oboe Performance from the University of Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music. Her EP, “My Own Mountain”, released in November of 2022, received critical acclaim in New City Music Magazine. She has since released a 3-song EP of demos on Bandcamp, entitled Wave of Sound and several singles with her ensemble in 2025-2026. She has had original music featured on Netflix and other major networks that were placed through “Get it Done Records” under the name Emily Anderson. She formerly played in the original Chicago-based rock band, "Dramaglider” and writes music with Michael Mazza in a duo called "Modern Wing." Both projects have music available on all major streaming platforms.
Caylee Wells is a flutist and artist living in Chicago. Using her background in classical flute, she enjoys pushing the limits of the traditional flute sound and technique into new territories. Caylee is inspired by collaboration and experimentation with others while seeking inspiration from multiple musical genres. In addition to performing with the Emily Chloe Quinn Ensemble, Caylee also currently performs with the Chicago band Periwink, who feature unique approaches to cover songs as well as original tunes offering dreamy and nostalgic sounds. In Fall 2023, Caylee was invited to collaborate with Chicago's own DJ Gloria, featuring live improvised flute sounds blended with 90’s house, pop, and Latin music DJ set. Caylee is also a visual artist. Her work is displayed on stationery that is sold in stores across the US. She also commissions pet-portraits and creates unique and fetching artwork for multiple ad hoc projects.

Emily's Extended Bio (Story time):
Emily first discovered her voice stood out when she was in second grade choir and received the coveted solo for the school program. She had already begun nurturing her joy of singing as a child with her older sister and brother, and would sing heartily from the pews of a small church that didn't use instrumental music. Her father was the preacher and her mother was a pre-school teacher. Recognizing Emily's gift, her parents enrolled her in piano lessons at age 8 and she began to play oboe in the school band at age 12. She was also active in community musical theatre, receiving several lead parts during her childhood and teen years, and standing out in community festivals and competitions.
She recalls sitting in the living room at the piano at age 4 and touching the keys, with the feeling that she already knew how to play, and just needed to remember.
Emily began playing-piano-while-singing-at-the-same-time as a teenager, which soon led to writing songs. One of her earliest influences was Tori Amos, introduced by her sister through her cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". She went to college to study oboe performance, and received her Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Through it all, Emily coped with life's obstacles by writing and performing her own songs in local coffee shops and venues.
Emily has performed in many ensembles in the rock, pop, folk, and classical genres. She has had music placed on Netflix, CBS and other programs. Her former Chicago rock band "Dramaglider" released a full-length album in 2018. She strengthened her adult voice during her time with that band, and started the Emily Chloe Quinn Ensemble in 2022, after releasing her self-recorded EP "My Own Mountain." After her divorce in 2020, she began to blossom and discover her once dormant identity. After a life of feeling like a misfit, she learned to embrace her differences and develop a sense of belonging.
Her ensemble has released 6 singles since 2022 and are now excited to release their first full-length album, aptly named Belonging, in February of 2027. The album is about this experience of self-discovery and transformation. Emily considers this album to be her greatest achievement so far, and is excited to share it with the world.
